Nurse Practitioner

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado. Prior to obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly 10 years in a variety of settings including inpatient care, emergency care, and inpatient psychiatric care, to name a few. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have worked in outpatient services, crisis services, and Telehealth.

I understand that making the decision to try medication can be a very difficult process. I consider medication to be one of many tools that we can utilize, but I also believe that it is important to incorporate non-medication options to optimize treatment. I routinely utilize evidence-based practice methods, shared-decision making, and goal-setting techniques to ensure that we are always on the same page about your treatment goals. I look forward to collaborating with you!

Providing personalized and results-oriented mental health care is my passion. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a diverse psychiatric background in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency environments. I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s of science in nursing and completed a Master’s of science in nursing from Regis University.

Active listening during our sessions allows me to understand my clients beneath the diagnosis. Addressing your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs is imperative in understanding you as my client. During our meetings, I will create a collaborative space to formulate treatment planning together. As a life-long learner, I commit to applying evidence-based practice treatments to ensure high-quality care.

I seek to provide an inclusive and safe atmosphere to cultivate a meaningful client-provider relationship. My ultimate goal is to highlight your strengths and to foster self-discovery, healing, and relief of symptoms. I would be grateful to be a part of your mental health journey.

Since 2013, I have assisted clients in recognizing how their past affects their present physical and mental health. My goal is to help my clients restore their mental wellness. Working collaboratively, you and I will create a personalized treatment plan to meet your unique needs and circumstances. Because medication can only relieve symptoms and not make one's life better and more meaningful, we will take a holistic approach to your treatment.

I am looking forward to meeting with you so we can work together to help you heal.
